When it's cold outside and you need something warm in the morning that's still quick to prepare – this is the recipe. Peanut butter makes the porridge creamier and more filling, while cinnamon and apple give it that special something.

Ingredients (1 serving)
- 80 g rolled oats (fine or coarse)
- 250 ml milk or plant-based drink
- 100 ml water
- 2 tbsp Organic creamy peanut butter
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- a pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
Toppings
- ½ apple, cut into thin slices
- Hacked Organic peanuts
- Honey for drizzling over
- Extra pinch of cinnamon
Preparation
- Bring the oats, milk and water to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 3–5 minutes, until the porridge reaches the desired consistency. For a thicker consistency, cook a little longer.
- Stir in peanut butter, cinnamon, salt and honey.
- Pour into a bowl and top with apple slices, chopped peanuts, honey and cinnamon.
If you don't have time, you can also prepare the oatmeal with the peanut butter in the microwave (2 minutes at 600 W, stirring occasionally).
