This American cult sandwich originally consists of white toast, spread with peanut butter and red grape jelly.

In our Weinviertel version of the PB & J, we use dark bread from the local baker, spread it thickly with peanut butter and refine it with homemade jam. Either with apricot jam or with blackberry jam. We think the tart taste of the blackberry goes perfectly with the peanut butter!
